My name is Greg Henson, and I am the founder and Chair of the Board at Henson Group. I started Henson Group in my tiny one-bedroom apartment in NYC after 9/11. I was the first and only employee for the first nine months. Now we have offices, employees, partners, and clients worldwide. We also are the #1 Azure CSP provider and one of seventy Azure Expert MSP companies globally.
I was working for Microsoft in NY during 9/11, and after the attack, I volunteered to help businesses rebuild and relocate out of lower Manhattan. This volunteer work became overwhelming, and so I quit Microsoft to help these companies full-time. Once these companies were up and running, they hired me to build and maintain their IT. That’s when I started Henson Group and why we still offer free migrations today as we did after September 11.
Henson Group started out as one employee, and grew to 4, and then 12 and have employees worldwide and growing each day. Henson Group recently ranked #132 on the Inc. 5000 with a growth rate of 2,809.31%. How did we do this without raising any money from Private/Growth equity? It’s simple. We are experts in scaling a highly profitable business using organic revenues and building flywheels for revenue generation and customer satisfaction. In 2021 the company names David Fuess as the new CEO, and the addition of the Henson Group Board Members.
