For all other Office 365 plan moves, follow these steps:
Step 1: Understand the difference between each plan. Do you really want to move?
Before moving to any of the Office 365 plans, understand the limitations and differences between the Office 365 plans.

Step 2: Back up your data
There are no tools available from Microsoft to back up users, groups, domains, SharePoint Online data or settings, Exchange Online data or settings, Lync Online data or settings, service requests, subscriptions, or licenses from Office 365.
Note If you do not perform this step, you will lose all data.
The following sections are guidelines that can be followed to manually back up data.
• You can back up mailbox content by using the Microsoft Outlook PST export/import process. Because Outlook is required for the PST export/import process, you cannot export or import mailbox data from Outlook Web App.
• No tools are available from Microsoft to back up data or company settings from SharePoint Online.
No tools are available from Microsoft to back up data (Lync contacts) from Lync Online.
Step 3: Cancel your subscription
Step 4: Add the subscription to your account
Once the subscription has been fully removed from your account (this can take up to 24 hours), you can now add the new subscription by going to Purchases within the Office 365 portal.
Step 5: Restore your data
• Exchange Online: Import PSTs into users mailboxes
• SharePoint Online: Restore data back into SharePoint by importing templates and uploading files.
• Office Professional Plus:
If you have an Office Professional Plus subscription and want to continue using it, each user should use the following steps:
1. Open any Office application and navigate to File, then Account.
2. Click Change Product Key, then click Sign in with an active account instead.
3. Sign in with the user’s Organization user ID and password.
