We believe that attracting, developing and retaining the best and most diverse talent, supported by an inclusive and equitable work environment, is essential to our continuing success.

Every employee is responsible for respecting the dignity and worth of all individuals and ensuring we have an inclusive workplace that provides equal opportunities free of discrimination, harassment and bullying. In addition, all managers are accountable for ensuring workplace diversity, promoting inclusion, and providing each employee with the support they may need to overcome any barriers and thrive at Henson Group.

Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activities are extensive

  • Henson Group encourages employees to get involved with charities that matter to them.

  • Henson Group has published career paths, including HG resources (time off to study, reimbursement for exams, mentors, etc.) that make the road to success transparent and attainable by all employees regardless of their backgrounds and creates an equitable workplace.

  • Henson Group's PTO policy allows employees to celebrate holidays of their choice, take “mental health days” when needed, and otherwise tailor PTO to their own needs.

  • Henson Group’s “work from anywhere” policy helps employees balance their home and work responsibilities.

  • Henson Group has a personal code of conduct policy that states that sexual harassment is totally unacceptable.

  • Henson Group's job descriptions for open positions contain language that encourages a wide range of applicants. For example, we avoid words like “forceful” or “competitive”, or other words that imply we prefer male candidates.

  • We ensure our website and other social media sites show the diverse representation of different groups (race, gender, generation, etc.).

  • We post job openings on sites of professional organizations for minorities and women.

  • We train hiring managers to ask non-biased questions.

  • Our on-boarding practices are tailored to meet the diverse needs of new hires around the world.

  • Our performance reviews include behavior that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • We prioritize doing business with suppliers and third-party networks that have good reputations and DE&I policies.

  • Under certain circumstances, e.g. COVID, we provide financial assistance to employees facing extraordinary hardships.
